OPT to H4

I need to do a change of status from OPT to H4 since I did not get H1. My fiance is on H1 and I am thinking of converting to H4 but I want to know if we marry now i.e after my H1 application is withdrawn since they could not provide the supporting documents properly for a query. With your experience can you tell us if we get married now and apply for h4 would cause the h4 to get rejected. Because it makes them think that i am converting to H4 by marrying just after the H1 was withdrawn. It is possible thatt they might think I am just trying to be on status and reject my visa. Or it does not matter at all to them when we marry or they have a history of what i applied.
 
I don't think it will matter. Just get married and apply for a change of status to H4. I am sure it will be approved.
