My wife was on F1 status when we got married. She was in the OPT period and working with her university in the filed of her studies.
I filed for AoS for both of us, and got the EAD too.
She has since continued to work for the university.
However there is a gap of 3 months in updating the university records with the latest EAD (The university still had her OPT card as work authorization , till 3 months after we applied for AoS).
Will this be an issue? In my opinion she was never out of status though she lost her F1 staus when she applied for AoS. She is authorized to work as she has an EAD,
Will not updating the university records with the latest EAD cause any problems.
Any information/opinions/similar experiences are highly appreciated.
