I am in a very confused situation. I graduated in December 2006 and my OPT started that time. I joined a consulting company and have been working with them since. Applied for H1 in April 07 and got it (I have received my H1). My H1 starts in October 1st so practically I am still on OPT till October 1st. I am thinking of changing my employer (i.e. the consulting company). Am I eligible to transfer my H1 at this time or do I have to wait till October?
