OPT(optional practical training ) Application when applied for I-485

I am presently on F-1(student) visa and have graduated in December \'2001.Through my husband\'s employer , we have filed for I-485 in Dec\'2001.I want to know whether i must apply for my OPT or is I-485 application good enough to keep me in status.

Filed 485 is enough !

You can apply EAD to get work authorization. You have lost the eligibilityto apply for OPT.
