I am presently working as a consultant for a small company.
I have couple of questions here
First... Can anyone tell me what all documents and procedures i need to apply for my H-1b.. i have my OPT till Oct 2005. i have to apply H1 to get it sanctioned from Oct 2005.. when is the date the quota and the application receving starts and what is the fee associated to that?
Second.... I am a masters student who is yet to defend his thesis.. i have completed all the course work but the defence.... When i apply H-1 How do i state myself.. am i only a bachelors student or can i say i am masters student... what do i need to do ...
Third .... I am presently paid by a percentage basis by my company.what ever i work i get paid for that .. he doesnt pay me an annual salary. Is that going to be a problem for me in my H-1b Filing and at a later stage is that a problem for my Greencard... and can you refer me couple of Lawyers where i can file a strong case for my H-1 as i am non computers background guy working in Computers background now.
