OPT fiancee of GC holder

Hi,

I received my GC 2 years ago through employment. My fiancee is in the US on an OPT which is valid for another 6 months. What will her status be if we get married and after her OPT expires? Can she stay legally or will she have to go back? Any advise on this matter will be appreciated.

since you are only a resident and not a citizen yet, she will have to go back as it takes 5-6 years for the spouse of an LPR to obtain a GC.
