Can a student on OPT file for extention (for the OPT) when his H1B has been filed but will come only after a month after the OPT expires? Let\'s say I am working and my OPT expires on April 1. However my H1B has been filed on March 1. Since the H1B will take around 2 months, I will have to keep on working. Will INS extend my OPT in that case?
