OPT application

Hi, I have a question about my OPT application - my application was received by the vermont center on June 4, 2008 and they said they sent out a receipt notice. But I haven't got any receipt notice yet, so I called customer serivce of USCIS up and they found out that since I had provided my school address in the application - they couldnt fit the full address in their databox, and I am guessing that is probably the reason why the receipt didnt reach the international office of my school. So they asked me to change the address to a simpler address, and now that I know my new address I made an address change online. I also called them up and verified that the right address and EAC number has been keyed in. But my question is - can I be 100% sure that my final EAD card will be posted in the new address? They said it will be, but I just want to triple-check with other people here. I am getting scared that in case they mail the EAD card to the same old school address then a similar lost situation may repeat. Should I keep calling USCIS and make sure that the EAD card is sent to the new right address. or just calling once (as I have already done) is ok? Can anyone please give some insight on this....any related suggestions or comments will be appreciated.

Just in case, God forbid, the card gets lost in mail, what are the next steps to be done to get the card back to my new address?

Thanks very much,
Aron.
