We received the following mail from CRIS for all three (me, spouse and child) of us at 8:10 AM EST

Current Status: Notice mailed welcoming the new permanent resident.

On August 21, 2007, we mailed you a notice that we had registered this customer's new permanent resident status. Please follow any instructions on the notice. Your new permanent resident card should be mailed within 60 days following this registration or after you complete any ADIT processing referred to in the welcome notice, whichever is later. If you move before you get your new card call customer service. You can also receive automatic e-mail updates as we process your case. Just follow the link below to register.

Any one know what is ADIT?

My message was like below...

Hmm.... does anybody know what is ADIT?

I am waiting for my husband's approval.

Thanks a lot folks!

It is been a tremendous relief after the approval. I guess the people with old PDs should be more active to take their grievances to all sources (FL, Senator, Congress man, ombudsman, SR....etc) in order to get the attention of USCIS
it is a very basic principal: "Crying babies will get milk first". I guess it worked for me.

congrats oops! i will love to hear the same news from everyone in this thread.
can anyone give some information regarding ADIT. Is it the process which involves getting passport stamp before getting a GC.
Did anyone has to go thru stamping procedure?
Did any of you got the approval notice which states to get the stamping done?
can someone post the exact wording of approval notice received in the postal mail?
