Only 1 LUD after FP

Folks,

Does any one in the same boat where only 1 LUD happened immediately after FP is done and that's it... no updates after that...

1 Lud

I too had only 1 LUD after FP , but it is better than not having LUD at all.
No LUD after FP means FP is under more investigation at FBI and FBI has not sent response yet.
LUD should happeen in 1 to 2 days i.e 24 to 48 hours.

There is only one LUD on my I-485. Some cases got approved with one LUD so when we have one LUD that does not mean we are in backward. I believe there no number for this year. Keep cross fingers another 2 weeks.

I have read in this thread that no LUD may mean stuck in name check. Is this necessarily true? Is there anyone who had no LUD and not stuck in name check?

Only one LUD after FP

We had our FP appointment on 09/20/2007 & we had immediate LUD on 09/21/2007 for both self & wife's case. Hopefully this is a FBI clearance. We received card production ordered e-mail for EAD on 09/25/2007 (for both). No news on the advance parole yet. I think there is a long ways for the 485 approval as I have a Feb 2004 PD for EB-3 (India).

How would I know if my case is stuck in Name Check? Does one get a notice? Does it show on the online status?
 
same here - 1 LUD after FP

Interestingly I got LUD on already approved I-140 after 3 months of approval and after 1 month of 485 LUD. Not sure why ?

How can I check if NC is done or not ?

I appreciate the fast response thanks. I see your signature but I my question is what is LUD, what is FP? What do they stand for?
For example I know that EAD stands for Employment Authorization Document or LC is Labor Certification.

What's LUD, FP? There is a post/page that explains all the abbreviations?

LUD is latest update on your case. If you register yourself online with uscis, every time there is an action on your file, you will see an update, i.e. date changed to the LUD date. It may not mean anything or it may refer to a change in message on your case, if any.

FP is Fingerprints that you have to undergo, when you apply for EAD or I-485 AOS, adjustment of status.
 
2 LUDs on I485

We had our FP appointment on November 2nd. Our I485 showed two LUDS - one on Nov 2nd, the day of FP and one on Nov5th.
I don't know what this means though?
 
1 LUD on 485 after FP and 3 LUDs on I-140

Greetings:

We had a FP on 9/25 and we got soft LUD 9/26 on I-485. But I had 3 soft LUDs (11/4/,11/21,11/23) on already approved I-140 (Arpil 5,2006). Why they are touching already approved I-140??
