Hi all,

I had my interview done on Oct 31 2006. At the interview my I-130 application was approved, but I-485 was pending on FBI name check. So I am still waiting since then.

I have been checking the online status for both my applications I-130 & I-485, but they are both not updated. I-130 still shows old messages like when they requested more evidence stuff and doesnt say anything regarding me having my interview done.Also in the Current status section it says Case received and pending.

Is that normal? All my other applications are updated and right. Only this one is not. Any advice? Is there anything I can do to speed up the name check?

Same here.

My online status for I-130, and I-485 hasn't been updated since August 06!

No changes even though I had the interview and was approved at beginning of December.
According to my attorney, sometimes the online information is not updaed very regularly, and can only be used as a guide. Also depends on your DO - some don't update often.
 
The USCIS website doesn't seem to move too fast. Its says the time lines haven't been changed since December 18th, 2006.
 
There a lots of things you can do but in my experience none of them actually have an effect on the processing of the name check. Mine has been lending now since Auguat 2004, we had the interview in January 2005.

However the namecheck should only hold up the processing of the I485. My I130 was approved in September 2004.
