Online status - VSC

Hi,

I received my FP appointment letter late January and completed my FP appointment on 15th Feb. When i check my status online, it still has the same message that my application was received on Jan 15th and it is taking 365 days to process this case.

Q: Does the online status change or do i just wait for the snail mail to be notifiied for the interview?

The general consensus around here is that this "online" thing is a big joke! So I would not only not worry about it, but rather ignore it altogether.

how to find out the "true" processing time

My DO is WashingtonDC (Arlington), any idea?

FP notice received - 02/10/06

I don't think there is a way to find out the "true" processing time. I guess you only find out after it happens . Even the times listed on the USCIS website for the DO's is only a ballpark figure and is only loosely connected to reality.
