It's my hope "This case has been sent for a standard interview" update indicate that all the background checks, including the FBI name check are completed. I'm stuck with other background check besides FBI for ages now, in fact i recieved the letter and thought MY DEMAND LETTERS initiated it. Best of luck to us all.

What other background check are there beside FBI FP and name check?
and what can trigger such background check?
I wish i knew, I was so upset to hear that, my senators contacted USCIS on my behalf and got the same response. Well, i wrote demand letters and if by a reasonable time i don't hear from them, i will sue. Best of luck.
Do you think suing USCIS will force them to try all means to deny one's application? By law, USCIS has to make a decision within 120 days from interview but that decision does not have to be approval. If you sue them,
they can become hypertehinical and hypertechinical means you have to answer a lot of Yes to thsoe questions
I will be suing based on the fact that, is been 8 months since my interview and a decision hasn't been made on my case with a reason like....They're other background checks besides FBI pending and they can't forecast the timeline in resolving that and if they do, they'll notify me. Thanks!
