Online status check site

My Case is returned as CLOSED. I received 45 day letter on Sep 8th 2005 and replied on Sep13 2005. Last week we had a status check and it came as 'Data Review'.

My Status

My status shows as "In Process" which is what I had expected. My 45 day letter was received and replied in Feb 06. However not sure if I can trust this system completely.
 
I would recommend people who have the cases as "closed" to contact their lawyers. After all, it wouldn't hurt to get your status confirmed. Good luck!
 
My search resulted as "No records matched your query, please check the case number."

I think the data they use for this test site could be incomplete or outdated. Let's wait and see when the actual site comes up.

Filed on March 25 2005

45-day letter Received and replied on MAY 3 2006.

Mine says "Closed" I just called my attorney and they suspect that is just a test, but they are contaction DOL as I type

I hope they did not close my case by mistake

No worries. You are not the first one to report this. But it's good to have your lawyer check into it so you can get a more accurate update.

I just talked to my lawyer. He said that this website seems to be just a test database and is not "official" yet. But that they have not received any official communication from DOL stating that my case has been closed, so that I should not stress about it.
Jeez I did not need it this today, I am leaving for my first vacation in 3 years on Saturday... :(
I will wait till DOL announces the official "status check"

Case closed?

Surprised and to my dismay, I found that my case is closed as per the status check 'test' site. My employer already replied to the 45 day letter back in May and did not heard anything from DOL about case closure. Immediately, I sent a mail to H1b 7th year extension and got a response in 15 minutes.

What's going on??

I got a 404 (Object Not Found) error when I tried to access the link. Can someone confirm it or it's just my own problem?

I guess they brought down the system when they realized that it had leaked out and folks like us had started banging the system and drawing conclusions. Oh well, I guess they got the "load testing" statistics they were looking for. I am sure that site got hit pretty hard this morning.

I am getting same mystake, DOL should not release the database till is ready, for our mental health sake

Is this right

Its very unfair .If they had to launch it and then remove the link why did they launch it in first place.We cud have waited for few more days.Its a festive time for employers and lawyers they got what they wanted and we are still in state of limbo regarding our cases. :rolleyes: :confused: :eek: :( :mad:
