Online Status Check is Finally here...

I hope that it will be useful to everybody...spending hours and hours on phone to get thru is not fun.

you can now check the status of applications pending with the INS service centers online. It seems to provide the same information you can obtain from the automated telephone line.

Information not accurate though

I got a RFE recently but the web page still shows the old message "Received the results of FP ..."
I hope INS can sync up correctly and provide accurate information. This should be invaluable!!! I think the telephone companies will not like this
