Online Status Change for Fingure Printing

Hello All

I have done FP on May 17th and my online status changed on June 01 as follows


On May 28, 2004, the fingerprints for your I485 Application to Register Permanent Residence or to Adjust Status were collected and are pending review.

MY details

EB3/Concurrent
EAD, AP Approved
RD 12/09/2003
FP 05/17/2004

Status changed

Mine and wifes online 485 case status message changed to:

"On May 28, 2004, the fingerprints for your I485 Application to Register Permanent Residence or to Adjust Status were collected and are pending review."

My case details:
I-485 - RD 08/03
FP done - 05/15/04
Status changed to above today, 06/01/2004.
 
Online Status changed after FP done

My online status got changed today and I got email too. I did my FP on 21st May and below is the message I got..

"On May 29, 2004, the results of your fingerprint review for your I485
Application to Register Permanent Residence or to Adjust Status were
received, and processing has resumed on your case. We will mail you a
notice if further action is needed, or when a decision is made..."

FP Status

Here is my FP status which changed on 27th MAY after I did my FP on May 13th.
On May 26, 2004, the results of your fingerprint review for your I485 Application to Register Permanent Residence or to Adjust Status were received, and processing has resumed on your case. We will mail you a notice if further action is needed, or when a decision is made.
 
I am a bit curious about the two types of messages posted here. One for me and madhu69, which say 'pending review'. The other for lonelypet and gc-ilusion which say 'results of your review have been received'.

So obvious inference from this is that in the first case FBI result is awaited and the second have been cleared by FBI. Am I correct ?

wonder whats up, fpd on april 22, 2004 and fbi sent it back to uscis on the same day and guess what more than a month over but nothing is updated. so well guys dont know what track these guys follow. just to let you know

i am basically done with all formalities and ready for a concurrent adjudication but well u see , my case is not even been updated on the website although fp was done in april 2004.

as i say always just wait and watch u dont know what the USCIS is upto.
 
I got my FP notice 2 days back and is scheduled for 06/17. Today my online status message changed to :

"On May 28th a letter has been sent to you asking you to appear for fingerprinting. If you have not received within 14 days .." blah blah blah

So now the online message is getting updated even when FP notices are sent.

We have received 1st FP notice on May25,2004 and online message changed today in I 485 that " We have sent FP notice ...."

Ya, USCIS is updating online messages upon sending FP notices too.

As per the words used in the message, you may be correct..!

I believe that you are correct and as soon as they receive the clearence on FP they might change the status to "Process has resumed on your case".

But wouldn't it be nice if the status changed to 'This case has been approved' !! ....juts day dreaming, as if that is going to happen anytime soon :(

I did my Fingerprinting on May 6 th, until now my online status never changed any thing.. my 485 online case status never changed after i filed my 485... same general messge ... but it was last updated in april 2004 when they send the letter for Finger printing... after that no change.. lot of people are posting once they given FP their online status message changed. mine was not changed, is it ok or any thing wrong.. do i have to do any thing....
My ND is 23 Sep 2003...

Looks like the online status update is in-consistant...

With out any Online update, I got my FP2 notice on 23-MAY-2004 which has a scheduled date of 29-JUN-2004.

I did early FP (33 days before) on 26-MAY-2004 itself.... and online status got updated on 01-JUN-2004.

On May 29, 2004, the results of your fingerprint review for your I485 Application to Register Permanent Residence or to Adjust Status were received, and processing has resumed on your case. We will mail you a notice if further action is needed, or when a decision is made.

Hope i am the next approver.. :)

Why did you get the 2nd FP notice, when your 1st FP is done only 33 days ago. Did you get the notice from the same service center? did you call the service center or the local office to find out wether you need to go for the FP again for the second time? I believe that the FP is valid for 15 months

How did you do FP in advance? What did you tell when you went to INS center before the scheduled date? Please share your experience.
 
You can go to local BCIS office any business day....
The officer at the gate may not allow... if there is crowd.

Find out the off-peak time and do your finger printing...

We're lucky... there were only 2 applicant at the time i went there (FP1 and FP2). So, the officer allowed me without any questions.

I think some mis-understanding is taken place...

I did my FP1 on Oct'02(>18 motnhs).
I recently got FP2 notice and it was schedule for 29-JUN-2004... but, i completed in advance (on 26-MAY-2004... which is 33 days before the scheduled date).

Hope it's clear now...
