Hi all,

Our RD is 09/26/2002 and ND is 10/15/2002. We Applied for our third EAD and AP in June 2004. Our Second FP was done on 04/29/2004.

The Problem is our online status message never got changed from Day 1. It was always displaying the same message.

"Your I485 Application to Register Permanent Residence or to Adjust Status
was received on October 15, 2002. We mailed you a receipt with information
about processing. It is taking between 570 and 600 days for us to process
this kind of case. We will mail you a decision as soon as processing is
complete."

I read in this forum that online message is getting changed whenever USCIS is receiving the FP results from FBI. Is this mean our FP's got lost??? Please help..Anyone with same situation got RFE or Approval???? :confused: :confused: :confused:

just got my 3rd EAD approved and did 2nd FP early June. No update of online
message for my I-485 from the 1st day. for some cases, online msg may
not be changed untill approving.

by the way, I called FBI after 1st and 2nd FPs and they confirmed the result
was sent to "INS".

Do not worry about the message. It didn't change for so many people. Someone mentioned that it only started changes for the people who did FP after May,04. I did FP2 on 5/6 and message didn't change but FBI confirmed that they had sent the results.

I was told the same thing that our FP results were sent out on the same day we are FP'ed. but it just nothing got changed regarding the online msg part & that makes us to worry. I contacted FBI Name-check division & they called us back that check was complete & that the results were sent back in Dec 2002.

I wonder if USCIS ever received these results from FBI. Is there any way for us to track it? I plan on requesting the FBI to send the results to USCIS once again, Is that a right thing to do, as we are dealing with FBI here. anyone did this before?
 
465 days since ND and 420 days from FP1. Nothing has happened since, no change of message, nothing! The only thing I know for sure is my application has not been lost. I know this because I did a change of address and last update date changed to the date I did the address change.

I didn't get update on FP2 either. Called FBI and they said FP was sent back to BCIS the same day. I don't think we should worry so much about the status update on FP.
 
Although message was never changed, my LUD changed. I would guess the same happened to you, however with USCIS....it is possible that it might not.

Yes, it happens all the time. When i checked my status couple of days back, only LUD was change, no message change. When i saw the next day message also changed. Final i got two automated e-mails about my approval both having latest status.
 
Not yet received the RFE, what i was talking is regarding my I-140. Hopefully monday i will receive the RFE.
 
Forgot about the onlime msg..IS there anyone whose LUD was not changed either? In my case the LUD was last updated on 10/17/2002 (my ND was 10/15), & nothing got changed till now even after applying for 3 EAD & 2 F.P, though there was no Adress change in my case from the time of my I485 filing.. :( :confused: :mad:
 
Which center did you file your I485

I have the similar situation, did second FP in early June, but on line message never changed. It is believed somthing to do with moving out of the original service3 center where you filed your I-485. So would you please tell us if you did your second FP in the same service center where you filed?
