Hi Guys,

Is there any one out there who applied for EAD online in Jan 2004 and still waiting for approval. TSC is processing cases as of Jan 23rd. I read in other posts that TSC is processing cases that are applied directly rather than Online. Is this true?? Appreciate if you share your thoughts & post your info.

Learnt from most ppl who filed E-EAD and shared their experience, Filing E-EAD was found more time consuming, Trigrring RFE, and many other issues.

anyway you already filled so keep followup. if 90 /120 days gone you have option to go local INS center to claim interm EAD.

Thanks POJ!!

I didn't know that TSC can't handle E-EAD efficiently. Reading from other guys, I felt applying Online is better solution. My current EAD is expiring by the end of this month and I am not completing 90 days to get it locally either. If I don't get it before my current EAD expires, do I have to be out of payroll till I get it?? What are my options?? Can anyone throw some light to it? Appreciate!!

You will have to have a valid EAD to be on any payroll.

Apply for your EAD renewal without further ado.

I have posted this a few times already...I always go for regular EAD renewal in the mail as it avoids making an appointment for fingerprinting.

Someone else said they needed an appt for FP and all the times were already taken for the next 45 days. Save yourself the hassle and do EAD by regular mail.
 
Agree with Sydney .. always done paper mail ...

.. no hassles regarding FP appointment/photos etc etc.

You need to file it asap (I mean really as soon as possible) or else you risk not being paid or on payroll.

I agree with you guys 100%. I made a mistake of going to online instead of applyling by regular mail. This was my first ever attempt to apply online thinking that TSC has improved its way of working. I guess not. It is the same old TSC. Oh well, Now I can't change what happened.

Probably you guys didn't understand what I wrote. I have already applied for my renewal on Jan 12th & waiting for approval. My current EAD is good until the end of March. Now, you guys suggest what are the steps that I can take so that I can get the renewal EAD before end of March. Appreciate you all!
