Online EAD renewal - Do I need to mail docs, photos?

I renewed (submitted request) my EAD, AP online. At the end of submission I saw message to mail in only supported documents, which is G-28 if lawyers are submitting on behalf of you. The instructions at the end of submission specifically say not to mail in any documents, photos.

The question is should I take it for granted, OR should I mail in docs (I-485 receipts, old copies, I-94 (changed for my spouse), photos to USCIS?

Hmm...I think I mailed in the docs and not the photos and it didn't hurt my application. For photos they'll send out a biometric notice.

Form I-131, Application for a Travel Document

You do not need to submit fingerprints for this form.

Form I-765, Application for Employment Authorization

If you are e-Filing Form I-765, you do NOT need to submit paper photographs and you do NOT need to self-schedule an appointment at an Application Support Center for the electronic capture of your biometrics. You will receive a notice in the mail from the USCIS that will provide you with your USCIS-scheduled appointment for capturing biometrics and photographs at an Application Support Center.

You MUST bring the following materials to your biometrics appointment, or processing of your Form I-765 will NOT be completed at your scheduled time:

Biometrics appointment notice.
Photo Identification.

You have too mail documents without photos. Photos will not hurt if you send it too
