Hi Guys,
I want to apply for my EAD renewal using online system. Is there is a FAQ or stuff that I should be aware of?

Any pointers would be greatly appreciated...

Make sure that you print out both the computer receipt # and the application using acrobat reader. You also will have to call the 1800 number to schedule a fingerprint appointment.
 
I did 2nd EAD Online

I did my 2nd EAD Online and mailed them the print out of the Online confirmation page and my employment letter.
BCIS sent me finger printing notice and I got it done on time.
It took me 6 months to get my 2nd EAD but recently my wife got it in 3 months (her first EAD).
These days EAD and AP are going really fast.

why finger prints required to take for e-EAD?

From my experience on paper EAD, no finger prints are required to take.
Then why finger prints are required to take for e-EAD?

How about e-AP?

I have not received 2FP notice (485 RD: May 2002), and want to file e-AP to trigger the 2FP notice? Comments, please!

I was on H4 (entered in USA ) and now I am on EAD and working.

My husbands I 140 and mine and his I 485, EAD filed by his company attorney.
I want to file eAP(online my self without attorney).

Can I do so or I have to ask same attorney to file this.

PL let me know any previous experience on this. Any DO and Don’t?

New forms I 131 ask for:

Class of Admission: what should I mentioned in this H4 or EAD? Or some thing else.

A# (Alien Number): What is this number is?
 
I did e-EAD and my friend did paper, both took same time.

I filed electronic EAD because I did not want to pay my dirty, hungry, chineese lawyer.

Yes, for paper EAD, u dont need finger prints but for Electronic EAD
I was required to get my finger printing and it is embossed on my EAD card.

The EAD card that u get via paper processing does not have finger prints.

Me and my friend filed for EAD at the same time.
I did electronic and he did paper.
Mine got approved in 6 months and his in 7 or 8 months.
It all depends upon the work load they have.

These days VSC is doing EAD and AP very fast.
Everyone is getting it in 3 months.

You dont have to tell ur lawyer to file ur EAD online.
The online EAD is very simple and u should do it to save money.

The Online EAD site has example of how to file it.
Read it properly and there wont be any errors.
It is very simple.

1. Is the finger print for e-EAD the same thing for 485 processing? I have been waiting for the 2nd finger print (FP) notice for 485, and want to file e-EAD to get the 2nd FP notice. Is it ok?

2. Will e-AP require finger print?

- No , it is not the same. Finger print for e-EAD is only for one finger (I wanted it to be the middle finger.. :p ), whereas the I485 finger printing involves all the 10 fingers.

2. Will e-AP require finger print?

- e-AP is still buggy in their system. Do a paper filing if possible.
