My lawyer received my H1 receipt notice yesterday via email, however, the online status says the number is incorrect. Is there a delay time for the receipt number to show up on the online status?
I have been seeing similar behavior myself. I guess it is a problem with their system, the behavior is intermittent and it does display the status once in a while.
