Online case status info - confused

I just call up the national info line to inquire about the status of my case (especially because the online case status query says that there is no information for my case). I was surprised when told that naturalization cases are not included in the online case status service!!

On this forum, I see numerous postings about online case status queries, was the person on the phone with me simply wrong, or am I visiting the wrong site?

The person I spoke to told me that BCIS (for LA California) is currently processing Sept 2003.
 
Are you talking about N-400 application? Are you checking using N-400 receipt number (like ESC*.....)?

that is correct what the person told you at CIS. i never had any online status information available for my N-400 application and i recently had my interview. hang tight dude!

Is this something new that naturalization status cannot be checked? And is this for every body? I could check the status until my application got processed for interview. Once called for interview it was removed from online status checking.
 
It looks like there is no consistency.....In my case the online status is still visible even though I received my interview letter.

Her assertion that no online case status for naturalization surprised me too.

Is there any common thread for people who do not have online case status records?

I am located in California, and applied 12/03 and had fp 1/04.

I am confused too !! I never checked the online status, but
got FP notice, when I went today, nothing online !!:( :eek:
