One Year Mark at VSC for I-485

If in another 2 weeks August processing does not end VSC would be officially taking 1 year + to process I-485 cases.

Of course there are few hapless souls from May through July of last year who still have not heard from VSC.

It used to be 9 months when I filed, then it became 10, then 11 months and now it will be 12 months. How I wish I had done CP and not relied on VSC....

In the meanwhile all of us keep waiting and waiting and waiting....

This thing makes me sick!!!
 
Validity

Your fingerprints never change. That is permanent
I have no idea about the medical. The one you submitted should be OK to see you through
 
You medical is valid for one year.But it means that you should file your 485 within that one year period. Your finger print will expire in 18 months.If u don't get ur approval ur for GC within 18 months after FP u will have do redo it. Ithink it is 18 months but it could be a shorter period but not longer. had friend who end ed up doing that
 
Here is what I know

Medical has no expiry date. YOu just have to submit once while applying for the first time. They dont ask you to do it again even the process takes 2 or 3 years.

FP has expiry date which is 15 or 18 months. I am very sure about this.
