One way ticket?

After receiving all the papers after a successful interview, is it okay to buy a one way ticket to the US?

like Tazmania said - roundtrip tickets are often cheaper than one way ones

So why shouldn't I buy roundtrip ticket even if dont plan coming back? :)
 
Hey y'all, the good news is that you CAN find a one-way ticket that is cheaper from a round trip! I got it for 60% of the round trip ticket price, so not too shabby.
And it's not just about the money for me..it's about knowing that I have a plane ticket that I can't or don't know if I'll be able to use--and for someone who just loves to travel that's just too tempting!

round ticket is good when you take it from USA. and more chipper. so for the first time you go to USA you just need 1 way.
 
hahahaha we are twins ubw117! exactly what I did - the fares from Aus are just so ridiculous at the moment and I had enough to scrape by with one way to NY with 15,000 pts to spare. YAY!

LOL how funny, I have been saving for years with Qantas for a one way ticket then you have to book your ticket years in advance otherwise no tickets left :)
