One more OLD case approved after a L O O O N G Struggle !!!

AD : 02/02/2002(Approved in SaturDay !!!!!!!!!!!!)

I applied the presure on NSC from all sources from Jan onwards(Like Senator, local Congressmen and attorny). I stopped calling IIOs 4 months ago, since its waste of our time.

NSC reasons for the delay is "since I140 was approved at CSC and they requested for approved I140 and waiting for that and may take some MORE months."
This was the answer to all of enquiries.(I posted this info on this board)

I faxed my I140 to Congressmen\'s office and requested them to take up the issue again as it has been approved 2 years ago. then they wrote letters
to CSC and NVC to find out the status of my I140 and came to know that
NSC NEVER(Underline) requested anything from any one. Then the congress men\'s office contacted the NSC with the above info. NSC approved both
mine and my wife\'s cases on the next day and informed the
congressmens office. I heard the news from them Yesterday. and I checked the AVM yesterday night, it says cases are approved.

This happend only because of the sincere and great help from Congressmen\'s
office.

if your case is more than 90 days(older) of their processing times, then
try to take help from some sources. otherwise we don\'t know, when they will
approve.................

I changed the employer year after filing 485. AP\'s were denied for
not responding to their RFE(Which we never received so far.)
NO RFE

Congrats ..I can imagine how much relief u may have now.
I got my I-140 from Vermont but my lawyer applied my 485 in Nebraska since iam working in Denver.Do i need to contact anyone?If so please advise me.

     My case is similar, I-140 processed at CSC and 485 with NSC and Waiting
   RD OCT\'00 and NDC NOV\'00. Your information is very informative.
   My attoreny sent an inquiry to AILA to find out the status of case, what do you think
   will it help to get the approval.

Letter, doen\'t matter. Just write about your case details and NSC\'s recent processing times and how far behind your case is. and request
for their help. I wrote a very simple letter.
