Spoke to an ins agent today, she told me that she could not give me any information regarding my case, and my lawyer should be contacting them. When I told her that the petioner did try contacting, but could not get thru, she told me that they are adjudicating application filed on May 31/2002.

I questioned her by asking then how come so many applications filed on Aug 12 thru Aug 16 have been adjudicated.

She replied by saying that they some how got out of queue.

One more lie. And I fail to understand as to why they cannot share information with the applicant?

Lekin who cares, we are immune to this....:cool:

Hey didn' t your 140 approval few weeks ago?
What you told is true, they lie! Even the congressmen's office and senator's office are doing the same. They adamantly say that the apps are processed in the order.

I was checking someone elses application status. This is the heights of wishfull thinking.

My application is still not approved. :eek:

I got the shock of my life day before yesterday when i called the NVC. They told me that the application that I was refering to was not mine but some one elses. So I went back and asked the lawyer to verify the application number, and guess what, it was different. When i went back and checked the status, it is still pending.

I am shattered, could not beilve how things have changed for me.....

But once again I am going to stick to my line

Expected Approval Date : June 12 2003 :p
 
Tell me How it is happened. Do you have your I-140 reciept? Becouse i am also having similar problem. My Attorney says my reciept date is June 15 but as per reciept it June 3. Even EAC number (three digit day ) is not tallying. Please let me know the details.

I received an email from my lawyer few min back saying that a rfe was issued on May 6. He had no details regarding RFE. My status online and on phone has not changed so far. still says that it will take btw 30 to 360 days. Will keep u all posted. Wish me luck guys !!

Just saw CSC I-140 processing moved almost two months in just two weeks (from 11/23 to 01/21 between 04/15 and 05/01) for EB3. I don't know what is other categories. Why not VSC??

Does that mean that your case is handled by NSC? But actually you submitted your case to VSC(should has EAC02XXXXXXXX)? If it is true, do you know why your case transferred to NSC? Thanks

On May 12, 2003, we mailed a notice requesting additional evidence or information in this case. The notice explains in detail what additional material is needed. If you have questions about the notice, what is required, or if 14 days have passed and you have not received the notice, Please contact the service center where you submitted your application during business hours.
 
I-140 Approved

The RFE was regarding work experience. INS wanted more detail regarding my job duties on the company letter head. Here are my application details

Approved On: 06/23/2003

I am also expecting my I-140 to be approved in next one month time and I have also opted for CP, Destination: Mumbai.
