Hello, everyone
I hope you will be able to help me out with my question. Me and my wife are permanent residents since december 2010 and we haven't been out of the country since then.
We also have a daughter and she was born here in USA - she is citizen. We are gonna go to our country of origin so the grandparents could see the baby. We will be out of USA one month and 20 days. We have our jobs here - we won't quit them, bank accounts, credit cards, car, car insurance, insurance for the baby our apartment and actually everything. Do you think we will have any problem returning back to USA after that amount of time...and is it gonna be a problem later if we apply for citizenship? We don't plan to leave USA after we come back...We fly to Newark on our way back that is the airport where we will go trough immigrations and I have read very bad comments. I called the USCIS and they told me if I will be out of USA less than one year it won't be a problem...but just in case you have experienced something like my case...
