One copy of AP is enough to travel with?

Everyboday got several copies of AP from INS. But can we just take 1 of them to travel?

If yes, why INS gives more than one?

One copy of AP with the photo is finr. You can make copies of that and give it to the airline as required. At the POE, all you need is to show that copy with the photo to the INS and get it stamped.
