once i use ead, can i apply for labour certificate again

hi all,

since my 6 year h1 is ending soon, i am in a situation to consider the following questions :


1. i want to keep h1 status, but dont want to work for the current company. during h1 extension period, can i do h1 transfer again?

2. im now considering apply through eb3 as a backup. do i have to be in h1 status to apply for labour certificate, or, can i do it in ead status ?

----------- I hope you have filed I-485 and got EAD if your I-140 is approved AND I-485 pending more than 180 days you can use AC21 change the employer with EAD . you can also file 7th year H1 extension if you have not used EAD
