On what basis NSC is approving I-485? Is it PD, RD, ND, or FD Date?

PD - priority date
RD - Receipt date of I-485
ND - Notice date of I-485
FD - Finger printing date

Hi sbky,
I have a question. What does it mean, when you say PD to be current? How it is determined? I saw cases with PD 98 and 99 are being approved at the same time. Can you explain a little bit more please!

Thanks.

I talked to IIO. If your priority date is not current, they will hold your case. I am passing through same thing.

PD 07/1998
RD 08/1999
ND 10/1999
FP 06/2000
EB3 - India.

Because of current priority date of EB3 is 2/1998. My case will be on hole till priority date won\'t become current. Whatever approval you show in past may be of EB2 cases. EB2 priority dates are somewhere in 2000.

Those people are facing this problem who filed their I-485 where all dates became current in Aug.1999 to April 2000. And after that EB3 dates gone back to Feb.1997. In last 2 months only dates moving so fast. In last 2 months, EB3 priority dates moved 9 months. I am hearing from different sources that it will move pretty good in future also.

I hope I answered your questions.
