On Rentry Permit + Health condition

I am living outside USA on Rentry Permit. Extension will get over in few months.

I am going for an operation which might take long time to recover completely.

Is there anyway I can get Reentry permit extended on Medical Grounds ?
 
No, you need to file I-131 in the US.
If medical condition is the reason to overstay reentry permit, you may be qualified to SB-1. Talk to consulate for SB-1.
