 I have modified this subsequent to my posting this as I found the answer to my question in a different message group.

 Please note the priority date reported on your finger printing notices is the same as your I485 RD date, and not the PD of your green card processing .

Details: FP RD: Aug 25, 2001; ND:Jan 8 2002, Received at home: Jan 12; Appt:Feb 8, at Newark, NJ.
