This weekend and today morning I checked my online status. To my surprise the following shows.
The status for this Receipt Number cannot be found at this time in this automated system. Please check your case receipt number to see if it is correct. If you have questions or concerns about your case status, please contact the National Customer Service Center.
National Customer Service Center (800) 375-5283
My time line is as follows.
Applied - Dec 29, 2003
Acknowledgement, fingerprint notices - Jan 2004
Finger Printed - 2/11/04
FBI cleared - 2/11/04 (within 3 hours as FBI told me)
Online status - as above
Local center Milwaukee, WI (Lincoln, NE)
My question is, could this be some computer error? Or is my application being rejected? I cannot imagine I can get an interview notice in this short time, but do I have a reason to smell a rat? Any ideas are greatly appreciated.
BTW yesterday I tried to check the status four or five times and then after some trials, the computer said that access was limited since there were too many inquiries!
Does this happen often? What is to be expected? TIA
