On-going special registration and I-485 freeze?

EAD's are being approved

Looks like INS is working on the EAD renewals. I happebed to mistype this number and saw it approved, I wish it was my case number.

I checked the on-line status of EAC-02-05 series, one number before and after my last number. They were both approved in Jan 2002.

Is this the case with others?

jus to confirm. jigesh is right. EAD and AP are coming. i got mine recently so this is first hand. thank god for small mercies.

Does this status " A written decision in this case was mailed on ........ " mean that the case is denied?

Not necessarily. Based upon what has been reported on this and other boards, such message could be for generation of "intent to deny," or sometimes "RFE," or even actual "denial." Don't lose sleep until you actually receive the communication from the INS.
