On conditional GC but won lottery (diversity program)

quick question: if you're on 2-years conditional GC, or in the process of getting AOS, what happens if you win the diversity program lottery?

can you just drop the AOS application (if you didn't have the interview yet) or the conditional GC (if you already have it) to pursue a permanent AOS through the lottery program?
 
You can submit another I-485 if you are still an AOS applicant. If you already a CPR, then you cannot.
