Hello,

My oath day is just around corner.
Should I learn the "Pledge of Allegiance" and the "Star-Spangled Banner" by heart for that day?

Thanks.

Jennie

No, you don't need to. They will recite the oath and you will repeat after the judge. You won't get to sing the star-spangled banner either :)

Jennie,

At the oath ceremony, you will receive a booklet entitled "A Welcome to USA Citizenship". This booklet contains the following:

- Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag
- Rules for Saluting the Flag
- The Star-Spangled Banner
- American's Creed
- The Meaning of American Citizenship
- The Duties of a Citizen
- Rights and Privileges of a Citizen
- Oath of Allegiance
- The Five Qualities of the Good Citizen
- America
- The Declaration of Independence
- Constitution of the United States of America
- Amendments

Good luck, and enjoy the day!

vibro.
