Hi,

Filed 485 & have valid Advance Parole, EAD. I-94 expired and H1 not renewed (more than 6 years on H1)

I am traveling to Canada this weekend.

1. Will the expired I-94 be a problem ?
2. What documents can they ask at the Border on re-entry to US ?

Thanks

WIth an AP, you will need a Visitor's visa to go to Canada unless you are Canadian Citizen or PR. At least that was the case a couple of years back when I checked with the Canadian Embassy/Consulate.
Nothing other than Passport and your EAD will be required to re-enter the US.

Thank you.

Will it be a problem if the H1 Visa expired on the passport as well as I-94 expired. But Advance Parole is valid and Passport is valid.

Is the re-entry OK in this situation.

Thanks a ton!!
Arun

Absolutely, that is the case with most AP cases where people have not left the US for a while. All my H1-B's were expired on the Passort when I used to travel on AP. When you re-enter the US, you will get a new I-94 anyway.
