Ombudsman inquiry

Did anybody get LUD change with the inquiry from the Ombudsman? I mailed a letter to CIS Ombudsman and they sent an inquiry to CIS. I emailed the Ombudsman and told them I never heard from CIS earlier and they asked me to contact them on 12/4/06. I emailed them again and they asked me to contact them again. I got a LUD today. I was wondering if LUD change is usual with inquiries from the Ombudsman or something is really going on on my case. Memo

Yeah: that is what happened to me. I contacted them twice and each time my case from one point to another. Within four weeks I got approved. So what is going on your case is the adjudicating officer is reviewing it. If everything is ready you would expect approval. If there are some information missing then you should expect request for evidence or something of that nature. Don't rest; push them hard until they approve your case...good luck

Thanks Faysal, I know that CIS had not received my name check till a couple of weeks ago. so that is peobably missing for sure. can the Ombudsman inquiry push for expediting name check clearance?

The name check is one area that I don't really have any idea. And I don't that Obdusman can do anything about that.
