old I 9 form vs new I 9 form...

can uscis officers deny your AOS based on marriage becos you claimed us citizenship on the old I 9 form? i know now they separated the box us citizen and us national.....but can they still deny you based on that old I 9 form?..thanks

They can

They can do anything especially the overzealous officers, even if its wrong but then you can contest it. They typically lost in court when that issue was contested
