Old H1B Approval Notice

Hi All,

I received H1B approval notice on May 2006 from a US based consultant but due to several constraints not able to STAMP VISA using the same.

Now approx. after 1 Yr. can I use the OLD H1B approval notice to go for VISA appointment and eligible for VISA. What are chances of getting the VISA or rejection?

Is it require to get any extra document from the US employer stating that the offer and position is still valid?

-----first ask the US employer if they have not revoked H1 by writing to USCIS. if they did then no visa based on that H1 approval notice and if they have not revoked then you need employer letter that they have job for you in US.
