old company H4, wants to travel

My wife went to India 5 months back and has H4 stamping from company 'A' that is valid till Dec 2003.
I've changed to company B and then to C. My H1 transfer with C is on its way. I'm not sure if 'A' has
cancelled my H1. She wants to come here in the next month.

1) how do I know if company A has cancelled my H1?
Does the online H1 Status Check provide the cancellation details too
2) In worst case if A has cancelled my H1 will my wife be still able to come here with no problems in POE?
3) Should I wait till the new H1 comes and ask her to get it stamped(that will be too late)

--- If A cancelled your H1 it will have no problem for her if you have valid H1b from any company when she enters US before dec2003, company can only cancel H1b petition not the Visa stamp
3) Should I wait till the new H1 comes and ask her to get it stamped(that will be too late)
