Ok to switch jobs when applied for Labor Certification?

Hi,

My company has just (last week) applied for Labor Certification. Now, I'm getting an offer from a different company? I have exactly 2 years left on my H1.
Is it ok to switch jobs at this time? Will the new company have to go through a phase of 6 months' advertisement before they can do anything with regard to GC processing? Or does it make sense to stick to my current company until I get the GC?
Besides, how long does it take for the processing nowadays.
I appreciate any advise on this.
thanks,
kjr

sorry

You will have to file for a new LC with the new company. Old company may revoke that LC or may use it for some one else after it is approved.
Only 6 months into 485(AC21) , employee has an option to leave and not lose the GC process that was completed already. Otherwise back to the square one :(

which state yout labor was filed in and what category ? (RIR/non-RIR) etc ??

Thanks

Thanks for your reply.

My application is made in California (California SWA EDD) under RIR.

thanks,
kjr

may be stick around for a while. CSC has pilot program. May be you will get green card sooner. (from 1 -2 years). unfortunately, Labor is not transferable....
