My husband became a permanent resident on November 3, 2004. He is eligible to apply for citizenship 33 months from now on August 3, 2007.

If (and it is a big if) he wanted to bring a family member over and apply for their green card, what is the absolute fastest way to do it?

Thanks in advance,

Kiska

It all depends upon whom he is trying to bring and country they belong.

Once he is citizen, things may move faster if you are talking about parents.

He would bring his parents. THey would come from the former Soviet Union. Any time frame???

Timing depends upon a lot of situation and it's very hard to guess. Normally spouse/kids/parents of USC gets process done within a six month.

Check following link for details:

Your help is greatly appreciated:

Here is my scenario, I got my GC on July 2nd 2004, my mother has tried 3 times to get the visitor visa but was denied the visa.

I was wondering if its possible to apply for her residency while I am on GC, if yes how much time it would take according to the current time frame?

Unfortunately as a LPR you can't apply for your parents.

Is there a way I can get her in legally for few days, as she doesn't want to stay longr here, I did everything while applying for Visitor Visa, but of no help.

Other then applying for visitor visa, nothing else I can think of.

Basically she needs to show that she got strong ties (family/fortune etc.) to her home country while applying for visitor visa.
