Processing time

Hi guys,

Good to see some activity on this thread again. Ohio processing time was 5 months about 6 months ago, not sure why that incrementally increased to 8 months now, does anybody have an idea? And does anyone know as to what the case load is at OH SESA?

My OH Sesa moved to Regional DOL

My OH Sesa was approved and forwarded to regional DOL on June 26th.

My case was filed in Oct 2003.

Mine was applied on 12th Oct. I have a friend who has applied on
21st and even his case got approved and moved to Regional.

It should be a matter of 2 to 3 weeks for you.

Ok_la,

I had my labor filed in RIR in may'2003 in IT. My employer told me that ohio has a requirement for running ads atleast for 6 months? not sure how far thats true. Whats your experience/opinion about it.

ohiostud, I don't think posting ads for six months is a req. Atleast one ad and efforts of recruitment for the last six months has to be shown...that's what my Attorney told me. Let's see what kevin has to say.
Kevin, can you let us know how many ad's you ran before ur labor is filed??

my attorney said it was recommended if we posted ads for 6 months
so we did
but we filed after 4 months of ads

also the ads had to include current wage
though i know many ppl only put in ads for a month and it is ok
