Finally it is my turn to share the good news.
I am so excited. Mine and my wife case have been aproved on Oct24th 2000.
I just checked the message.
here are the details:
PD:08/18/98, 485 RD:09/01/99, ND: 09/21/99, FP:08/30/00 AD:10/24/00.
I would like to thank everybody and specially Mr. Rajiv Khanna for providing this webboard. My special thanks also to myladoor and waterman for maintaining their sites.
For the past two years this website is so helpful to me.
Guys, don\'t loose hopes. there is a light at the end of tunnel.

Could you share the sequence in which the message in the AVM changed on the INS machine.

I did not get RFE. SO, all these days the message is "you case has been recieved bla bla...". I also talk to IIO last tuesday(I posted the message in this board) and she is also kind of hopeless. I called this tuesday and the message has not changed though it is approved on the same day. By seeing lot of approvals, I called VSC. The message changed to "This case has been approved on 24th Oct 2000...".

Congratulations for your approval. have you got the approval notice yet ? Since you mentioned that you are from Rapidigm Inc. Which outside lawyer company took care of your I-485 ? Would you mind sharing that ?
