Offline appointment?

Hi,

I took B1/B2 visa 'online appointment' for my mother-in-law today and got interim date of 'Monday, June 06, 2005'.

Will going to any of 'US Visa Application Centres' and getting an offline appointment will do any help in getting an early appointment?

Did you made reservations in any regional language or English?. I heard that there is only 4-5 months delay for interview. They also removed the appointment availability calendar from the TT services web site, right ?
