i was coming back from 1o days trip to kuwait, my flight stopped at dulles airport, when i reach the immigration, i gave the officer the green card, NP,AND re entry document, he scanned my GC, STAMPED MY CUSTOM FORM,

after i walked away, i went to pick up my bags, i looked at my passport, i realized he forgot to stamp my passport or to stamp my re entry document,

i went back to him quickly, explained to him he forgot to stamp the passport,
he was very nice guy, he stamped my passport,

this is the second time happened to me in the last 2 years, first time at SFOairport

DOES IT MATTER IF THE OFFICER DID NOT STAMP YOUR PASSPORT?

It does not matter. So you gave him RP and NP and didn't he ask you why you have a RP? Tell us more details since Dulless is always the toughest and weirdest airport..

dear punjab munda:

to get visa to kuwait, you have to have somebody in kuwait who can sponsor
you family member or friend,

kuwait doesnt recognize travel documents, you have to have NP,

YOU SEnd copy of your passport to your friend in kuwait for example,

he will apply for visa for you at the immigration office in kuwait, it takes a week,

when you got approved they issue you a visa, the visa is a piece of paper,

your friend can mail the original paper visa or he can fax you the copy,

if he choose to fax you the copy, you can you use the copy to travel to kuwait, but remind him to leave the original copy for you at the immigration office in the airport, otherwise they are not going to let you leave the airport

when you arrive

Thanks

Thanks John for your prompt answer. Out of curiosity, what about visitors? What if someone wants to visit Kuwait and have no relatives or friends in Kuwait? Don't they have tourism industry? I guess they have so much oil that they don't care

I came onto Dulless (Is this the Wash DC?) from CoP few months ago, and had no problem. Officer just asked how long I have been on the trip.

Do you know if GC + RP ( not NP ) will be accepted in Gulf countries, such as Saudi Arabia, UAE, Kuwate,.. and Egypt ?

middle eastern countries dont accept travel documents,

the best thing to do is wait until you become american citizen, with american passport you dont need visa to arabic countries
