My friend’s brother has a company and told me his brother can get me an offer letter. Now question is, would the US Consulate officer be using his computer to looking into the company’s tax return and other previous employees that the company has sponsored? Or the Consulate Officer just looks at the offer letter without going further into the company?
Another question I have is that, on DS-230 Part 1 Q11. ask the address in the United States where you want your Permanent Resident Card mailed. For this question, my answer is the company's owner's house.
Would this be a problem given the fact that Offer Letter is from a company which is owned by the person where my green card be mailed?
I do not know anything about this company. I am taking my friend's word. So when I go for an interview I don't want to be surprised or turned down by Consulate Officer because company is almost bankrupt or some other reasons.
