offer from overseas, can i accept?

Hi
I received my green card about 4months ago. Now I am being offered a job in Malaysia. (I want to go for 1 or 2 years for experience, then intend to return to USA.) I am very interested in the job, but I am concerned how it will impact my residency status in USA and will it hurt/delay the process towards citizenship.

I would appreciate any comments. Also, are there any other issues I should be concerned about?

Thanks for your input, I appreciate it.
Also, do you think it might help if they offered me a job with a limited time frame for example a 2 year contract.
