October case approved per law firm

October Approval

My friend with october Rd got approved on 1st August. I never believed him but today i saw the approval notice...

I am still waiting with August 8th RD:confused:

I am not sure what INS is doing but it looks like they are doing something weired.

there are many AUG 01 case still pending may be they have started Sep 01, Oct01 simultaneously just approving 1 0r 2 cases a day for those months.

that's notice date

If you saw the RD as October '01 in the approval notice of I-485. That's actually the Notice date of I-485, which means the RD is actually August.
 
Looks like Awaiting approval is right ( thats what happens most of the time).

Better way to verify is to check the EAC# which will tell the exact RD etc.
